The reason for this awning was the door leaf which got exposed to rain and shine. Replacement of the door leaf would not be a good solution until and unless the rain and shine is sheltered with an awning. See another post on the replacement of door leaf here.
Therefore, this awning was fixed for the purpose of reducing exposure of the door to rain and shine. Total cost of the awning was RM1,200.
